Boreal Ski Resort is conveniently located just off Interstate 80 at Donner Summit, nine miles from Truckee, CA, 80 miles from Sacramento, and 45 miles from Reno. While lodging options near Boreal on Donner Summit are somewhat limited (there is a small hotel at the base of the resort), there is a large selection of Truckee/Lake Tahoe vacation rentals to choose from just 15 minutes away. In addition, Truckee has a good selection of hotels, plus great restaurants and entertainment.
